Our Facilities
Camp Discovery is a 270 hectare Nature and Game Reserve situated only 60km north of Pretoria in the Dinokeng Conservation area. Game drives are offered on custom open vehicles with common sightings of eland, giraffe, sable antelope, roan antelope, oryx antelope, waterbuck, red hartebeest, kudu, black and common impala, blue and golden wildebeest, springbuck, reedbuck, bushbuck, zebra, nyala, duiker, steenbuck and warthog;
• Sleeping up to 1200 students and 250 staff members at any
given time in neat dormitories and chalets with prime quality high
density mattresses;
• Teachers’ facilities include neat rooms with own private swimming
pool and dining facilities;
• A breathtaking Auditorium seating 2000 people that’s ideal for
conferences, concerts, product launches, weddings or indoor
sports;
• Auditorium seating 300 with Big screen, DSTV. PA system and
DVD/CD equipment;
• Various other fully equipped lecture rooms;
• 6 outdoor amphitheaters/bomas;
• Fully stocked Tuckshop;
• 20m pool with demarcated lanes for swimming clinics;
• All weather netball courts and practice wall;
• 5ha sport fields for rugby, soccer, cricket, hockey, athletics, cross-
country and much more;
• Various well kept and safe adventure courses e.g. Obstacle,
Group dynamics, Team building, Letteria and Night adventure
courses;

• Ample well-maintained mountain bikes and box carts;

• The property is fully fenced with a 2.4m game fence and 24 hour
access control with guarding service and recorded CCTV making
it safe and secure. We maintain a strict policy of “Entrance by
Appointment Only”;
